Yes, I do realize that the title of this post is extremely misleading. Just bear with me for a moment, please?

A few days ago I took a picture, which I titled “Green Energy”. It’s a very simple image of a power outlet in an abandoned wall.

I submitted this picture to some of the stock image agencies that I use to sell my photographs. While it is always somewhat entertaining to see if the pictures are accepted into the collection, this picture was special:

One agency rejected the above picture with the comment that it doesn’t “reach our desired level of aesthetic quality” while the next agency not only accepted the picture, but even gave it a five-out-of-five star rating. It just gets to show you how very subjective photography is!
